“After ten days it's not that easy to develop good game concepts, but it was well done, like with France. For me it was important that guys would try harder after a tiring year. They did and there is optimism. Moreover, people show enthusiasm towards a so young team: it helps us. In September the players will be in condition and matches will be different, valid for a league. And we will know who didn’t come in these 12 days because of injuries or something else ”. That’s how Mr. Mancini commented after three friendly match with Saudi Arabia, France and Netherlands.
After 2-1 in San Gallo, then the 3-1 match with Transalpines in Nice and the one-even with Orange in Turin. That confirms the positive tradition that sees the National undefeated in friendly matches with Netherlands and in the four matches played at the 'Juventus Stadium'.
Next appointment for Mancini’s Italian team is scheduled for September: the debut of Nations League will be the first big exam of new season.
