'Mancini' in the list of who left an unforgettable mark in history of Italian football.
FIGC (Italian Football Federation) Hall of Fame has been adorned with the presence of other ten names, which have made the history of Italian football. Roberto Mancini will be added to this prestigious list and he will be part of chosen coaches in which the jury's vote has converged.
The Italian Football Hall of Fame, recognition established in 2011 by FIGC and by the 'Museo del Calcio' to celebrate the people who left an unforgettable mark in history of Italian football, enriches itself with other 10 stars: Gianluca Vialli (Italian player), Ronaldo (Foreign player), Roberto Mancini (Italian coach), Corrado Ferlaino (Italian adminisrator), Roberto Rosetti (Italian referee), Marco Tardelli (Italian expert), Patrizia Panico (Woman football), Giacinto Facchetti, Helenio Herrera, Umberto Agnelli (Posthumous honors).
In January 2016, the award will be delivered in Florence, as done in the previous years, during an official ceremony: in that occasion the award winners will deliver a symbolic memory of their career that will enritch the Football Museum in Coverciano. The Italian Football Hall of Fame, that today has 47 legends, can be considered an ideal praise and a place where the most symbolic and emblematic people of the Italian football tradition can be celebrated and where their memory can be passed on.
The Italian Football Hall of Fame is divided in 7 categories: Italian player (retired at least two seasons before), Foreign player (retired at least two seasons before and that has played at least 5 championships in Italy), Italian veteran (retired at least 25 years before), Women's football, Italian coach (with at least 15 years of experience), Italian adminisrator (with at least 15 years of experience), Italian referee ( retired at least 2 years before). Great champions of the past are also nominated and are added with full rights to the other prize winners.
